Volunteer Opportunities

As a volunteer at MH, you will help improve the lives of the residents. The role of the volunteer at MH Assisted living is a special one. Volunteers perform a service that supplements the care provided to our residents by the staff. Through the sharing of individual interests and talents, volunteers enrichand add vital variety and interest in our residents' lives. Volunteer visits create a feel of expectation and excitement which serves as a positive motivator. With this motivation, residents stay involved or become more involved resulting in improved quality of life. The staff is appreciative of volunteer assistance in providing this special attention. In addition to individual volunteers, MH invites and encourages community groups to participate in the volunteer activities. Opportunities include art projects, making room decorations, writing down stories, labeling photographs, making cards, playing games, reading books, sending emails and bringing your pet.
